Abigail and Attacking Asthma are helping run a fellowship program for millennials in clean energy industries with a goal of providing training, leadership development and a supportive professional community. They are also broadening their horizons by touring start-ups designing technologies to address the climate crisis.
Since 2019, members of attacking asthma have been working with CCMP, located in Oakland, California. CCMP works with low-income workers to ensure that their health needs are met while also fighting for legislation that would guarantee comprehensive healthcare. Lack of access to healthcare for low-income workers has become a large issue in the United States and beyond. By working locally and partnering with organizations, CCMP is able to understand the needs of the people and supply direct aid.
Abigail has been serving as an ambassador at outreach events and implementing mail fundraising campaigns. While volunteering, she promotes clean air quality, anti-smoking, and low-cost treatments for lung ailments.
